SedonaOffice Version 5.1

We are pleased to announce the SedonaOffice version 5.1. Since the release of SedonaOffice 5.0 we have continued to enhance SedonaOffice with new features and functionality. The 5.1 release is an accumulation of all these enhancements and a few significant others that continue to make SedonaOffice the most powerful application ever developed for the security industry.

New Major Enhancements for SedonaOffice 5.1

  • Inventory Management: New Standard Costing method to track inventory part values.

  • Service Tickets: New Service Ticket Costing tracks the profit or loss on each Service

  • Ticket. (Job Costing for Service)

  • Service Routes: New ability to schedule technicians by Routes.

  • Critical Messages: Create Critical Messages at the System and Service Company levels.

  • Customers and Vendors: Print any list in the Customer or Vendor Explorer screens.

  • General Ledger: New feature to Reopen an Accounting Period by User Group.

  • Customer Group Security: New feature to allow View Only option for a Customer Security Group.

Inventory Management Enhancements

With SedonaOffice 5.1 we have made significant enhancements and added new features to the tracking and costing of Parts. Prior to upgrading to SedonaOffice 5.1 we strongly suggest you review the “Inventory Management – Standard Costing” reference guide. This guide reviews all the changes and updates made in SedonaOffice 5.1 to the Inventory application. These changes will have an impact on your business and should be reviewed and understood prior to upgrading.

Service Enhancements

The Service application has been updated with new features and options with SedonaOffice 5.1. These features should be reviewed prior to upgrading.

Other Enhancement & Application Fixes
